Yup.  I'm not complaining, I'm just going "much cleanup required".  If
they'd been written in the other order, cleanup would be required in
that direction.

Cleanup tends to be the majority of the work. :)

Yeah, it's nontrivial and might need changes to the lib_args code.  I'm
looking at it, but day job's making me fall behind again...

I was trying to use hg-git but it turns out to be a bit buggy, and
github doesn't let you delete old trees in an obvious manner.  I might
revisit that later. (I plan to keep using mercurial because I like it,
but if I can get seamless mirroring there's no reason not to...)
