The tree has that issue, I'm working on it now.

(It's glibc version skew, which also affects uClibc. I've installed an  
ubuntu 8.04 reference system for older glibc, and I'm testing uClibc  
and musl as well. Getting lib/portability.h to set all the right  
things.)
