Looks like scsijon misread and looked up -d.
I have a very hard time believing that -b is used after installation for
any native environment. Now, it could be useful when
cross-compiling, in the process of installing, or to examine packages
before installing them.
-d is one of several legacy field shortcuts "to ease the transition from
old modutils modinfo":
-a = -F author
-d = -F description
-l = -F license
-p = -F parm
-n = -F filename
Per my testing, all that happens when they are combined is the rightmost
takes priority.
