Sorry, I suck.
I've been sitting on my local changes here for months (haven't found
time to finish testing and writing up the rationale for the changes) and
it's not fair to you, so I'm deleting my changes (patch attached for
posterity, doubt I'll ever look at it again) and applying yours instead.
Then I moved the command back to "pending" in hopes that someday I find
time to review what you did to it.

tomorrow, then do a table demo the next day for $DAYJOB for which I'm
expected to write a kernel driver between now and then, and then on
friday I fly to Tokyo where I help run $DAYJOB's table at
http://10times.com/world-smart-energy-week and then I spend another week
there trying to catch up the $DAYJOB todo list before flying back to
Austin on March 9. And THEN maybe I can spend some time on toybox again.
That would be nice.)

P.S. I really hope tomorrow's tutorial goes better than last months'

mode of "not enough editing before the talk so I had over twice as much
material as time and hadn't rehearsed it enough to present it
quickly/smoothly and not go off on tangents about interesting things
that don't advance the plot of the story I'm trying to tell the audience
right _now_. Back to editing my talk to at least _minimize_ that. This
starbucks closes in an hour...
