I need a set of test files for these. It can produce something like a hundred
different kinds of output and I haven't got files that replicate that.

Probably what I should have is a tarball or zip file of test files that it
extracts at runtime, possibly truncated to 100 bytes or so when that's enough to
identify the type. (I can call them "fingerprints" or something so it seems like
less of a hack. :)

It's that or check a hundred little files into the repo, and I dowanna. But
first I need to _collect_ a bunch of these files. Hmmm...
