the internet was a mistake. best avoided if you value your mental
health. (especially as it's mostly just bots and trolls and trolls'
bots now.)

yeah, as usual that seemed less bad to me than inventing one (that
might be used for something else by coreutils in future)...

tbh, i'm not sure why they didn't just always set XARGS_PROCESS_SLOT
or something.
