From aboriginal:
(x86_64:1) /home # ld -V
GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.17.50.20070703
Supported emulations:
elf_x86_64
elf_i386
i386linux
While on zacate (gentoo multilib stage 3 tarball + qemu for a full range of target):
alain at zacate ~ $ ld -V
GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.23.1
Supported emulations:
elf_x86_64
elf32_x86_64
elf_i386
i386linux
elf_l1om
elf_k1om
Is there any rationale that binutils is 2.17 on aboriginal?
