Correction, looking closer it does seem like what you wanted. :)
Currently wrestling with how to express -H, -L, and -P in the dirtree
logic. (I can do it in the callback but I think I _want_ the
infrastructure to be able to do this. Possibly the dirtree_read function
needs a flag...
