[Toybox] static build

Hi,

I tried a static build of 0.8.2 release on my Debian-9 x86_64, but the
resulting binary is much larger than
http://landley.net/toybox/bin/toybox-x86_64
Is there a note on how the above static binaries are built? against musl,
uClibc, glibc or something else? Which distro or compiler was used?
